Reeds cover the banks. Pebbles make up most of the bank, so watch out! They can get stuck in your pads. A good place for teaching apprentices how to swim. In greenleaf, beware, twolegs like to come and fish. Fishing alongside twolegs is not an easy feat.

Mosseystar came to the lake shore. She looked for Silentstrike. Where was he?

Silentstrike padded onto the pebbly lakeshore, enjoying the feel of cool water rushing in around his paws. Encouraged, he waded in deeper until the water lapped at his chest. The water was cold from a cool nighttime temperature. As he looked farther down the shoreline, he saw Mosseystar walking along the pebbles. Surprised, he walked towards her, his lower body still submerged in the water.

Mosseystar saw the warrior walked towards her. "May I help you?" She looked confused.

Smiling, the gray and white tom climbed out of the water and padded up to Mosseystar. "Of course, you can always help me," he said. He flicked his tail. "Care to join me for a swim?" he asked. He turned his sparkling green eyes on her, giving an encouraging smile.

Mosseystar smiled at the other cat. This was going to be fun. "Of course!" She ran and jumped into the water.

Silentstrike pushed off with his strong back legs and paddled into the deeper water. He was aware of Mosseystar jumping behind him, and paddled harder. He circled around and came up on the bank, his paws sinking into the pebbles. Shaking himself like a dog, he ran up onto the grass, bounding around playfully.
